Friday 8 May 2026 Friday 8th May - Class assembly and seaside fun This week in Year 2 has been all about preparing for our class assembly — and what a fantastic performance it was! I am incredibly impressed with all of the children. They learnt their lines brilliantly and performed with such enthusiasm and confidence. Performing in front of an audience can be very challenging, but every child should feel extremely proud of themselves. They truly shone on stage!

Thursday 27 November 2025 Thursday 27th November - Becoming Historians This week in Year 2, we stepped into the shoes of real Historians! We explored a range of primary sources and used them to make inferences about the remarkable Mary Seacole. Through our investigations, we discovered that she was a nurse who set up a hotel to help soldiers during the war. We also learned about her incredible life story and why she is still remembered today for her courage, kindness, and bravery.
